Seizing the opportunities in Mainland China’s ongoing agricultural modernisation and industrial reform, HN Group has invested in its first agricultural project in the Hunan province. The project aims at producing camellia oil, a cooking oil with higher nutrition value than olive oil and is from trees that grow exclusively in China. Through afforestation and planting quality seedling of camellia tree, under the management systems being introduced by the Group, the project considers balancing resources and production level an important purpose, to promote a sustainable agriculture.

The provision of stable and high-quality camellia seeds not only can meet domestic needs of the camellia oil, but can also strengthen the supply of the oil products to the Hong Kong and Macao markets.
